Come hear a concert performed by Cape Ann Symphony musicians in a wonderfully historic meetinghouse, the Gloucester Unitarian Universalist Church. Founded in 1779, the church was the first Universalist congregation in the United States. Built in 1806, the building was created in a perfect “shoe box” design which gives it ideal acoustics.
Our Autumn Awakening chamber music concert features music written for flute, oboe, clarinet and strings in various combinations. The program includes excerpts from some well known as well as lesser known composers and works. Conductor Yoichi Udagawa and the musicians will give verbal introductions to the music.
This concert, held in a historic building with incredible acoustics, will be a wonderful afternoon of music and a treat for all music lovers.
