Return & Exchange Policy
Cape Ann Symphony is a small ensemble running on a tight budget. We ask patrons to read this policy carefully before purchase, and to call the box office if there's any chance you might need to adjust your plans.
Single concert tickets
Single concert tickets are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged. If you're not sure whether you can attend a particular concert, a season subscription — which includes flexible exchanges — is the easier way to plan ahead.
Season subscription tickets
If you can't make one of the concerts in your subscription package, you can exchange that ticket for another concert in the same season, free of charge, up to 24 hours before the original performance. Exchanges are subject to availability.
Because our seating is general admission, an exchange is for the concert date only — there's no specific seat to swap. To request an exchange, call the box office at (978) 281-0543 or email info@capeannsymphony.org with your subscription details and the new date you'd like to attend. We'll confirm and send your updated ticket.
If we cancel a performance
In the rare event we have to cancel a performance — for weather, illness, or other reasons beyond our control — we'll reach out directly with your options, which may include exchanging for another concert, a refund to the original payment method, or converting the value of the ticket into a tax-deductible donation to the Symphony.
Donations
The Cape Ann Symphony Association, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit (EIN 04-6191403). Gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law and, as with all charitable contributions, are non-refundable. If you made a gift in error or have a question about a donation, please contact the office.
Lost or missing tickets
Your e-tickets are emailed to you after purchase and stored in your account profile. If you can't find the email, sign in at our website to download them again, or call the box office and we'll reissue them. If you arrive at the door without a ticket, just give us your name — we keep a list and we'll get you in.
