Text Messaging Terms

The Cape Ann Symphony Orchestra — a 501(c)(3) nonprofit symphony based in Gloucester, Massachusetts — sends a small number of transactional and service text messages to ticket buyers who have given us their mobile number. We never send marketing or promotional texts through this program.

How you sign up (opt-in)

There is one place you can opt in: the checkout page at capeannsymphony.org/checkout. When you buy tickets, the checkout form includes an unchecked “Text me my ticket links & concert reminders” checkbox with the disclosure shown below. Checking that box and submitting the order is your consent to receive recurring text messages. Consent is not a condition of purchase — leave the box unchecked and you will receive no texts.

If you have already bought tickets, you can also ask us to re-send the ticket link to your phone from our ticket-help page. That page does not collect a new number — it only re-delivers to the mobile number already on your order, the one you provided at checkout above.

What we send

• Ticket delivery links — a link to save your concert tickets to your phone wallet.
• Order confirmations — a short confirmation after a ticket purchase.
• Operational notices — occasional day-of-concert reminders or schedule/venue changes for a concert you have tickets to.

All messages are transactional or service-related. We do not send marketing or promotional messages through this program.

Message frequency & rates

Message frequency varies — typically 1–2 messages per concert you have tickets to. Message and data rates may apply, depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

Opting out & getting help

You can cancel text messages at any time by replying STOP to any message from us. After you reply STOP we will send one confirmation and then send no further messages. To resubscribe, reply START.

Privacy & your mobile number

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text-messaging opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties. We use your number only to deliver the transactional and service messages described above.
